Like, you always figure this stuff is super sensationalized for the camera but damn, unless this woman is keeping the act up and angling for her own reality show…
I’ve never watched this show before but I just had to after seeing this and oh. Gods. Simply delicious. I hate to admit that I enjoy watching crazy people like this, but I do. Truly. Wow.
So I haven’t finished a show since…Lost? Avatar: TLA? Everything I currently watch is still going on (Breaking Bad is ending this fall though SOB), so this is the first time in a long time that I’ve actually watched a show from beginning to completion.
I’m not a big tv person at all, and I enjoy a short list of some dramas and one or two comedies. That being said, Spartacus is amazing, y’all. It’s one of the best written, well produced (esp considering their tiny budget) shows I have ever seen. It’s gratuitous in its sex, violence, and swearing, but not in a shock-value way. Maybe it seems like that at first, but by the end of the first season it just fits perfectly considering the time period, subject matter, and characterization.
If this sounds like something you could dig, then watch it. It’s technically 3.5 seasons, and easy to burn through. Do it.

I know what I’ll be doing to celebrate unemployment. Samurai Jack is going to be first on my list! I need to re-watch Batman: TAS so I can start Batman Beyond, which I always thought was a fun series. And also, I can give some appropriate watching to Adventure Time.

I cannot tell you how infinitely aroused this trailer makes me. Hannibal is my favorite character of contemporary American storytelling and I LOVE the movies. I have high expectations for this series given the casting and the visual style. Looks like they are really going to push “the envelope” in regard to graphic violent imagery, which is great.
Fuck yea, let’s see more illustration in adverts and posters. Can’t wait for the new season.

I’m not much of a tv watcher, but this looks promising, mostly because I LOVE Hannibal Lecter as a character and the Hannibal trilogy is my ultimate favorite.
