Woke up at 5:30 AM after weird, stress-induced dreams with incredibly dry, achy throat and a pain so awful in my upper back/lower neck I couldn’t even lay back down or sit without writhing in agony so I couldn’t go back to sleep but for little spurts of minutes after taking a hot shower and a stray aspirin from my cupboard with a swig of wine.
